We’re hiring for the following positions. Hourly rates discussed at time of interview/initial discussion. Most roles will require a paid trial shift.

  • Front of House – Part & Full Time Positions Available
    • Working 3-5 days a week including 1 weekend day, 20+ hours per week.
    • Some shifts may be scheduled for our concession in Maldon Promenade Park.

    • We’re looking for a friendly and experienced Front of House Assistant for our busy Tea Room/Restaurant. Our Front of House staff play a vital role in our day to day operations. You’ll be assigned an area in the restaurant daily and responsible for all of your guests needs. The role can be varied and you may be asked to work different roles from time to time. Teamwork is key to our success and everyone ‘mucks’ in to help each other out. Cleanliness is paramount, you’ll have a clean eye for keeping things clean and tidy and during service and a thorough method in close down tasks.

Preferred:

      • Barista & bar training

Required:

      • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment.
      • Flexibility in shift changes and holiday cover
      • Good communication and customer skills
      • Smart appearance
      • Able to work under pressure & follow instructions
  • Part time Kitchen Porter/Pot Wash (Monday, Tuesday & 1 weekend day)
    • 16-24 hours per week
    • Main duties include washing dishes and assisting in the day to day running and cleanliness of the kitchen
    • Occasional food running
    • Fast-paced & physically demanding role
    • Level 2 Food Hygiene course provided
    • Experience not essential
    • Opportunity for extra work in school holidays & annual leave cover.
    • Occasional evening shift
    • Share of generous TRONC scheme
  • Front of House – Weekend & School Holiday Bar Assistant
    • 6-16 hours per week, weekends.
    • Main duties include preparing drinks & assisting bar manager in the smooth running of the bar.
    • We’re looking for somebody friendly & professional, well presented with good hygeine.
    • Our venue is large, over three floors with vast outdoor seating – this is a very fast paced job
    • Experience preferred but not essential, full training given.
    • Opportunity for extra work in school holidays & annual leave cover.
    • Occasional evening shifts
    • Share of generous TRONC scheme
  • Front of House – Weekend Runner 
    • 6-16 hours per week
    • Main duties include running drinks and food, cleaning tables and assisting servers
    • We’re looking for somebody friendly & professional, well presented with good hygeine.
    • Our venue is large, over three floors with vast outdoor seating – expect lots of steps & stairs.
    • Experience preferred but not essential.
    • Opportunity for extra work in school holidays & annual leave cover.
    • Occasional evening shifts
    • Share of generous TRONC scheme
  • Kitchen Assistant – Weekends
    • 6-16 hours per week
    • Main duties include handling food, preparing dishes and assisting our kitchen team.
    • Fast-paced, high volume venue.
    • Level 2 Food Hygiene course provided
    • Experience preferred but not essential
    • Some shifts may be scheduled for our concession in Maldon Promenade Park.
    • Opportunity for extra work in school holidays & annual leave cover.
    • Occasional evening shifts
