Festive Afternoon Tea
Mrs Salisbury cordially invites her patrons to an extra special Festive Afternoon Tea.
Be treated to a festive selection of finger sandwiches followed by a delicious savoury bite and a warm fruit scone with jam and clotted cream. To finish, indulge in a selection of festively fabulous sweet treats. Served with a glass of Prosecco, Winter Pimms or non-alcoholic hot spiced apple plus unlimited loose leaf tea or Americano coffee.
Monday to Friday: £33.95 per person + 10% Service
Saturday or Sunday: £36.95 per person + 10% Service
Children’s Festive Afternoon Tea
Those ages 12 and under can also experience the Mrs Salisbury’s Magic!
Our Children’s Festive Afternoon Tea is served on its own special board, and consists of plainer sandwiches and sweet treats. Little ones will keep busy as they decorate their own personal gingerbread biscuit.
As always just let us know of any dietary requirements, allergies or fussy eaters at the point of booking.

Our Festive Afternoon Tea is served at various slots throughout the day and is available inside the main buildings of Maldon High Street, Wickham Bishops and Coggeshall, as well as in some special areas shown below.

The Nutcracker Factory
At Maldon High Street
Step into our magical Nutcracker Factory, featuring over 2,500 hand-hung baubles, a giant nutcracker guarding the entrance, vintage-style toys, and Santa’s sleigh with reindeer ready on the roof for the big day.
Perfect for a festive celebration, this private dining space is exclusively available for our Festive Afternoon Tea and seats up to 6 guests comfortably (or 7 at a squeeze).

Winter Igloos
at Wickham Bishops
Introducing the Winter Igloos – a delightful and cozy dining experience that combines the magic of winter with a festive touch.
This year, our igloos will be set in the secluded garden at our Wickham Bishops location. Picture yourself surrounded by plush blankets, comfy cushions and cosy vibes. Adorned with twinkling lights that create a mesmerising ambiance, making it the perfect setting for an intimate and enchanting dining experience. Designed to transport you to a warm and inviting winter refuge on those cold winter days.
- Seating up to 8 people as a private group
- Smaller tables can dine along side others creating a festive atmosphere.
- Available exclusively to book for our festive afternoon tea, with no extra charge
- Dog friendly – please be aware, if you’re sharing an igloo, there may be other guests that have canine companions.
Our Winter Orangeries
At Coggeshall
Our Winter Orangeries – a delightful and cozy dining experience that combines the magic of winter with a festive touch. Nestled on the water front of our outside area in Markshall estate, picture yourself surrounded by lush winter plants, their vibrant greenery contrasting beautifully with the crisp winter air. The Orangeries are adorned with twinkling lights that create a mesmerising ambiance, making it the perfect setting for an intimate and enchanting dining experience.

- Available exclusively to book for our festive afternoon tea, with no extra charge
- They’re dog friendly – please be aware, if you’re sharing an orangeries, there may be other guests that have canine companions.
Our Winter Ski Gondolas
At Maldon High Street
Back for 2026 in a new location! Enjoy Festive Afternoon Tea in your own private Winter Ski Gondola, seating a minimum of 4 comfortably or 6 at a squeeze. As our Maldon High Street location is transformed into a festive oasis, our Ski Gondolas will open to take their first flight. Let us transport you to The Alps as you dine in style! Advance booking is essential.

Using vouchers towards Festive Afternoon Tea
Afternoon tea vouchers are not valid on the Festive Afternoon Tea unless a surcharge is paid. If you wish to book, please give your preferred location a call to get booked in and pay this surcharge.

Afternoon Tea without Prosecco Voucher: £7pp weekdays, £10pp Weekends.
Afternoon Tea with Prosecco Voucher: No surcharge weekdays (please still call to book), £2.55pp Weekends.
