Part Time Barista
We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our Tea Room based in Maldon. You will be responsible for making all drinks including coffee and cocktails. This position also includes some shifts in our Kiosk which also means serving customers and preparing food.
Days: Sunday, Monday and Friday
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the tea room
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare kiosk food
- Making barista quality coffee
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work on weekends and weekdays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Kitchen Porter (Dishwash) – Weekends
We are currently seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our team on a Saturday. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness within our kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.
- Ensuring all items are washed to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assisting kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Emptying and cleaning waste bins regularly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Sweeping and mopping floors to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Assisting with the receiving and storage of deliveries as necessary.
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and potentially cover other shifts if needed.

Full Time Kiosk Assistant
Position: Kiosk Assistant (Barista & Basic Food Preparation)
Location: Mrs. Salisbury’s In The Park

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as assembling sandwiches, salads, and pastries.
- Participate in the physical aspect of setting up and dismantling furniture daily, ensuring the kiosk area is ready for operation and meets safety standards.
- Occasionally responsible for opening and closing the kiosk, including cashing up at the end of the day.
- Keep the kiosk clean, organised, and well-stocked throughout the day.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a hygienic work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is required, demonstrating proficiency in beverage preparation techniques and customer service skills.
- A food hygiene certificate is desired, but if you don’t have one, we’re happy to provide the necessary training.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
